The Lake Of Shadows, 2018

A lovely customer got in touch with me to create a print of a scene she loves dearly. It was the view of from her family's homeplace on the shores of Lough Swilly which she returns to every summer. It took a bit of time to get all of the elements into place - the weather, the colours, and the local seals. In the end we couldn't decide which version was better, so she decided to take both. Now one sits in Donegal and the other is in the UK.
