Slieve League (Sliabh Liag) is where the hills of Donegal meet the sea. If you hike to the highest point on the cliffs, the drop to the waterline below is 609 metres (1,998 ft). This makes Slieve League three times the height of the Cliffs of Moher and some the the tallest cliffs in Western Europe.
On the Pilgrim's Path, you will walk in the footsteps of the early Christian monks who built a church and beehive huts on the slopes of the mountain. This place is as sacred as the a panoramic view that stretches all the way to the mountains of Sligo and even Mayo on a clear day.
