Cruit Bridge, 2018

A lovely bed and breakfast owner on Cruit Island got me to design a tea towel of Cruit Bridge and all of the activity that happens there. She wanted a design to celebrate her adopted area and to help raise money for local organisations. I found it was a difficult project to get right as it was hard to reconcile the island view and all the activity at the bridge in the foreground. In the end, I think it worked and the client was pleased. If you are in the Kincasslagh area you might even see one of the tea towels for sale from time to time.
