An Grianan Theatre, 2017

Daithi Ramsay in An Grianan Theatre. Letterkenny had been looking for someone to do an image of the theatre building in a modern style for quite some time. He tracked me down at a market I was doing in Glen and after a few back and forths about what should go in the foreground, I created this. 

The original idea was to have the building, but I thought it wasn't enough. I was hoping that adding a character would bring the performance aspect of the theatre to the forefront. I think the print is still on hanging in the box office of the theatre.
